Chevy Silverado accident
An east Montgomery County man died when he lost control of his pickup truck near Patton Village, and it flipped over onto its roof.
The man, who is either 19 or 20 years old and whose name has not been released pending notification of next of kin, was driving north on Tram Road, just north of Roman Forest Boulevard, around 8: 09 a.m. when his Chevrolet Silverado truck veered into the southbound lane, hit the ditch on the west side of the road, came back onto the road and then traveled back across both lanes and hit the ditch on the east side of the road, Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Ashley Zendt said.
After hitting the east-side ditch, Zendt said, the truck flipped over and landed on its roof.
