The first effort from Bavarian design house Unique Sportcars (what an inventive name for a tuning company) is for sale on JamesList. The Calavera (Spanish for “skull”, a trade name for futuristic super cars) began as a Ferrari F430. With the help of celebrated Ferrari tuning company Novitec Rosso and Austrian designer Knud Tiroch, the company has created something of a technical marvel.
The result of 11 months of development, the Calavera performs like a concept car but is completely street legal. Boasting an impressive 707 hp, the Calavera breaks 100 km/h in just 3,5 seconds and has a top speed of no less than 348 km/h. It’s powered by a twin-supercharged 4,3-liter V8 in its latest evolutionary state, with no less than 712 Nm of torque. Stats like these just might make us forgive the slightly, shall we say, enthusiastic use of skull decals.
